Youth Music Forum Project Manager

closing date: Friday 30th May 2008

Salary – Fee of up to £4,800

Glasgow's Concert Halls have secured funding to support a new music forum for providers and consumers of youth music services across Glasgow and are recruiting an experienced Project Manager to manage the overall creation of this.

Membership of the forum will be open to groups, individuals and organisations from both the informal and formal music and/ or youth sectors. The forum will meet regularly to primarily consider issues local to Glasgow but it will also consider how the provision and consumption of youth music services in Glasgow feeds into a national framework. Membership of the forum will be encouraged from organisations with both local and/ or national remits.

The main purpose of the forum in its inaugural year will be to increase opportunities for its members to network and to act as a catalyst for the facilitation of new partnerships and relationships across the sector.
