Exploring Audiences’ Mindsets: a psychological analysis of measuring and changing attitudes

This workshop takes place in response to feedback from delegates attending the recent GGA conference. Lead by Karen Thomson the session will examine the measurement of attitudes towards particular organisations – an area in which there has been little research to date, particularly within the arts and culture sector.

With an outcome orientated focus, the workshop will provide the opportunity for you to develop a questionnaire for measuring specific attitudes about your organisation.

Karen Thomson
Karen is Head of Learning, Teaching & Quality of the School of Life Sciences at Glasgow Caledonian University. She recently hosted a breakout session at the GGA conference in June, where she demonstrated how social psychology can be used to understand audience expectation and what arts organisations can do in response.
